A New World
They saved the world from a dangerous A.I. But now, the world has fallen to a new threat.
Aelita, Jeremy, Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi were all in New Orleans on vacation when the dead began to rise. Told Atlanta was a safe-zone, they trekked across the American Southeast, across three states, only to find Atlanta overrun.
Now marooned and surrounded by "walkers," reanimated corpses, they must survive on their own in an undead world. Most of the group sees the walkers as mindless predators whose death is necessary for their survival. Aelita, however, sees them as victims in need of help, and abhors the idea of killing them.
In their efforts to survive, they meet old friends, and encounter other survivors like Rick Grimes' group. As the gang struggles to survive, Jeremy begins to obsess with finding the cause of the infection, and Aelita tries desperately to preserve the group's humanity, as well as her own, after the collapse of society at the hands of the undead masses.

Here is a promo for my upcoming Code Lyoko crossover series, The New World. It is a crossover with the comic and AMC TV show The Walking Dead. Most of the locations I write about, I have never been there, but not with The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead is filmed and located in and around Atlanta, Georgia, where I was born and raised. That is part of the reason I like the show. That, and the drama, rich characterizations and suspense. And the fighting. All of which are reasons why I liked Code Lyoko. If you like Code Lyoko, I think you will like this. If you like The Walking Dead, I think you will like this. And if you're like me and you like both, I think you will love this.
